LDES Council Welcomes Caryn Morrow as Chief of Staff

Brussels, 29 Jan. — The Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Caryn Morrow as Chief of Staff. In this role, Morrow will be responsible for supporting the organisation's executive leadership in strengthening the LDES Council's strategic capabilities, enhancing organisational effectiveness, and driving the successful execution of global efforts to advance the LDES Council's mission.

Morrow brings significant strategic leadership experience across high-impact global initiatives. Previously, she was Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations at Microsoft, where she worked with international organisations, including the United Nations, to address global issues through cross-cutting partnerships and initiatives. She also served as Chief of Staff to the Managing Director for Law & Policy at Everytown for Gun Safety, where she helped shape organizational strategy. Earlier in her career, Morrow worked at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of State, coordinating the U.S. response to global health crises like Ebola and Zika.
