LDES Council Welcomes New Members to its Board of Directors

Brussels, 3 April – The Long Duration Energy Storage Council is pleased to announce the election of four new members to its Board of Directors. These industry leaders bring strong expertise in energy innovation, regulatory strategy, and commercial development to advance the LDES Council’s mission of scaling long-duration energy storage (LDES) technologies worldwide.

New Board members:

  • Robert Bernard, Chief Commercial Officer, Echogen Power Systems
  • Doron Brenmiller, Chief Business Officer, Brenmiller Energy
  • Giulio Lolli, Head of Regulatory Affairs, Magaldi Power
  • Walter Meisner, Senior Director, Development, MN8 Energy

The LDES Council is a global non-profit organization that seeks to accelerate the global decarbonisation of energy systems by ensuring that the value of LDES technologies is recognised. The LDES Council, with more than 60 members over 20 countries, provides member-driven, fact-based guidance and research on LDES, which represents a USD $4 trillion market. LDES Council members represent the entire LDES global energy value chain – disruptive technology companies, innovative renewable energy companies, forward-looking equipment providers, utilities, investors, and end-users.
